Tropics about to heat up?

The last few runs of the GFS are now consistently showing a very interesting scenario for the second half of this month. Firstly the landfall of a descent size hurricane somewhere along the east coast between August 20th & 24th. The lastest runs put that storm dead center into the Carolina's as an explosively intensifying hurricane.

At that same time, this is what the Caribbean could be dealing with...
Right down the pipe. Two hundred miles south of this track & it could become a true monster.

Both of these storms are projected to come from tropical waves that have already formed, but only one of which has entered the Atlantic as of now. The other one should emerge off the African coast in 36 to 48 hours. Obviously the tropics are now demanding full attention to see if this comes to pass.
